  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) chili beans
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
  4. Add the chili beans, diced tomatoes, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet; stir to combine.
  5. In a large bowl, mix the cooked macaroni, beef mixture, milk, and 1 cup of cheddar cheese.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
