			- 1 pound elbow macaroni
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can (15 oz) chili beans
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
- Add the chili beans, diced tomatoes, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet; stir to combine.
- In a large bowl, mix the cooked macaroni, beef mixture, milk, and 1 cup of cheddar cheese.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add jalapeños or hot sauce to the beef mixture.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
