Ingredients

  • 8 oz mushrooms, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 4 pita pockets
  • 1 cup tzatziki sauce
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until translucent.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in chopped mushrooms and cook until tender.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Remove from heat and mix in shredded cheese until melted.
  7. Warm pita pockets in the oven or microwave.
  8. Stuff each pita pocket with the beef and mushroom mixture.
  9. Serve with tzatziki sauce on the side.
