Description

A creamy and delicious cheeseburger mac and cheese bake that combines the flavors of a classic cheeseburger with the comfort of mac and cheese.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
  4. Stir in the cooked macaroni, cheddar cheese, milk, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over the top of the macaroni mixture.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

  • For extra flavor, add diced pickles or bacon bits to the mixture.
