A creamy and delicious cheeseburger mac and cheese bake that combines the flavors of a classic cheeseburger with the comfort of mac and cheese.

- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the cooked macaroni, cheddar cheese, milk, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over the top of the macaroni mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add diced pickles or bacon bits to the mixture.
- Feel free to use different types of cheese for a unique taste.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
