Ingredients

- 1 lb chicken breast, diced
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1 jalapeño, finely chopped
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine diced chicken, cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, and chopped jalapeño.
- Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- Form the mixture into nugget shapes.
- Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each nugget in flour, dip in eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the nuggets until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra heat, leave some seeds in the jalapeño.
- These nuggets can be baked instead of fried for a healthier option.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
