Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan generously to prevent sticking.
  2. Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl until combined.
  3. Mix the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract in another bowl until smooth.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients carefully, stirring until just incorporated.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan, then spread the softened cream cheese evenly on top.
  6. Drizzle caramel sauce over the cream cheese, then top with the remaining batter.
  7. Swirl gently with a knife to create a marbled effect.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Let cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing.
