Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Peel and slice the yams into 1/2-inch thick rounds.
- Mix the yams with melted butter, cinnamon, brown sugar, and salt until well coated.
- Place the yams in a baking dish and pour a small amount of water over them.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil, stir the yams, and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until tender and caramelized.
