- 1/2 cup roasted butternut squash, mashed

- 1 tablespoon fresh sage, chopped
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side, layer the mashed butternut squash, cheese, and chopped sage.
- Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
- Grill the sandwich for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat, slice, and serve warm.
