Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine blueberries, sugar, and water over medium heat.
  2. Stir until the sugar dissolves and the blueberries start to break down.
  3. Add the finely chopped Serrano peppers and lemon juice.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 15-20 minutes.
  5. If using, stir in pectin and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before transferring to sterilized jars.
  7. Seal jars and let them cool completely before storing in the refrigerator.
