- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 premade pie crust
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Combine the blueberries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and cinnamon in a large mixing bowl.
- Pour the blueberry mixture into the pie crust.
- Dot with butter throughout the filling.
- Roll out the second crust and cut it into strips for a lattice top.
- Trim excess dough and brush the lattice crust with egg wash.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the filling bubbles.
- Cool the pie for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
