- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning until well coated.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the seasoned shrimp and cook until blackened, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic, bell pepper, and onion. Sauté until softened.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the heavy cream and let it thicken slightly.
- Add the blackened shrimp back to the skillet and mix well.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve hot.

- Adjust the level of Cajun seasoning to your spice preference.
- Serve over rice or pasta for a complete meal.
