Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 slices of bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the ground beef and onion. Cook until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in the rice, beef broth, diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes or until the rice is cooked.
  5. Stir in the cooked bacon and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and combined.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
