Description

Delightful mini cheese balls shaped like chicks, bursting with creamy, tangy flavors, perfect for parties and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 16 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 3 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 carrot (or 3 baby carrots)
  • 40 black peppercorns
  • 20 crackers
  • 2 1/2 cups cheddar cheese (shredded)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whip the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  2. Sprinkle in garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce (if using) and stir until well combined.
  3. Gradually fold in 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Using a 1-inch cookie scoop, portion out the cream cheese mixture and roll each portion into a ball.
  5. Roll each ball in the remaining shredded cheddar cheese and place atop crackers on a baking sheet.
  6. Slice the carrot into 40 thin pieces for feet and cut additional pieces for beaks.
  7. Press two black peppercorns into each mini cheese ball to create eyes.

Notes

These cheese balls can be prepared a day in advance and stored in the fridge. They can also be baked or air-fried for a warm option.
