- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Add the sliced beef and marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for another minute.
- Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions over the stir-fry and toss to combine.
- Serve hot over cooked rice.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a splash of rice vinegar to the sauce.
- Feel free to substitute the beef with chicken or tofu for a different protein option.
- Adjust the amount of soy sauce based on your salt preference.
