- 1 cup apple cider
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for coating)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin tin.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the apple cider, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Fill each muffin cup about 2/3 full with the batter.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- While the donut holes are baking, mix the sugar and cinnamon for coating in a small bowl.
- Once baked, let the donut holes cool for a few minutes, then roll them in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Serve warm and enjoy your delicious apple cider donut holes!
Notes
- For a stronger apple flavor, you can add apple pie spice instead of cinnamon and nutmeg.
