- 2 cups hash browns
- 6 strips bacon
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- Grease the baking dish and spread the hash browns evenly across the bottom.
- Sprinkle the crispy bacon over the hash browns.
- Pour the egg mixture over the hashes and bacon.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until puffed and golden.
- Cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, substitute bacon with sautéed vegetables. Can be prepared the night before and refrigerated.
