Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups hash browns
  • 6 strips bacon
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  4. Grease the baking dish and spread the hash browns evenly across the bottom.
  5. Sprinkle the crispy bacon over the hash browns.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the hashes and bacon.
  7. Top with shredded cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until puffed and golden.
  9. Cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, substitute bacon with sautéed vegetables. Can be prepared the night before and refrigerated.
